At sunrise younger female leatherback sea turtles are still laying eggs before heading back out to sea in Trinidad at Grande Riviere. This turtle was filmed as her head flushed pick and salt was expelled from her eyes. She laid between 80-100 eggs that were then buried in a flipper-carved nest, deep within the gradually diminishing sandy beach.
